Charming demons, another briljant Senser song

    3:34

Senser, a politically-charged UK band, originally formed in South West London from a group of friends in the late 1980s, Nick Michaelson (guitar), Heitham Al-Sayed (vocals), Kerstin Haigh (vocals), John Morgan (drums), James Barrett (bass) and Alan Haggis Haggerty (engineer, producer, programmer) and in 1992 they were joined by Spiral Tribe D.J, Andy Clinton. The band soon forged an innovative, eclectic and explosive new style and began to support psychedelic rockers the Ozric Tentacles. Soon they had developed a following in their own right and they were invited to play at Glastonbury, this got the ball rolling in 1993 the band were signed to Ultimate records. Senser's musical style has repeatedly been described as uncategorisable, but is nevertheless most often classified as Rapcore.

In deep respect to the artists, i want to share some pearls you won´t hear on the radio everyday...:) ...if you like it, buy the fucking album !

My name is crash, Sidewinding I flash like a blinding flare
don`t look away cause I`m already in there, I`ve been there,
wherever you stare, I`ve been there longer than you`d care
to remember. Buried deep inside you, now you must step to
accept all the past behind you, Pain breeding pain & it`s
back again, only the scars in your brain remain so you look
for a vent. You consent to escape what`s gone & now I`m on.
From the nippleto the needle to the bottle, you`re never
satisfied for these crimes you must be tried. You can`t hide
coz I am reality. You`re birthright is a world of insanity,
disconnected legacy & you will never see an end zo all the
global savagery. Continuing to feed your desire for more,
but deep down you know that you can never find what
you`re looking for. Gone and you can`t buy it back & now
your senses are under attack, so you act automatic return
to the frantic nation of addicts. Reduced to the manic, false
erratic solemn doped up slaves & servants of greed coz you
    were--
BORN IN THE AGE OF PANIC.
Now I`m going all city with the master plan, a faster man,
& I`m about to tell you who I am. I am the reality, you can`t
escape the visions recorded on disc & tape. The rape, the
horror, the shame so familiar. My words fill you with fread
and then kill you dead. Stone cold in your stride. I fill a hole
in your sole around fifty miles wide. I am the part that you
can never reconcile. You`re right here, but you are living in
exile. Walking in cities of stone. The shadows groan.
Thousands of people, but you are all alone.
In your own little zone, like a drone. Working hives, all
your lives bowing down to the throne of the over lords
made in your own image, aneithsatised in the global
village, now you`re finished, dependent lost in a maze.
You`re dazed as you stare at the glowing blaze. Erased
your future pulses in a computer. I am you, now how`d
that suit ya. Inherited chaos now instilled as I willed and
now I just wait for the kill as there, BORN IN THE AGE OF
    PANIC.

    Senser - Channel Zero

    3:46

Senser, are politically charged band who meld thrash rock, hip hop, rasping rap and psychedelia fronted by rap's answer to Johnny Rotten, Heitham Al-Sayed. They eformed around 1999 (believe it or not), nine years after breaking up (inadvisedly may I say) following their first ground-breaking album Stacked Up.
And they have this month put out an EP of covers called Biting Rhymes. This is one of the tracks from it. A corking cover of Public Enemy's Channel Zero.
There is no official promo, so here's the SiX DwArF video edit.
Oh, don't expect a lot of still pictures or even one for the entire track. It's been thought about. Visit myspace.com/dwarfuk and for more free and exclusive eclectic fusion tunes and vids to mess with your collective noggins. NOTE: This is a strictly non-money making venture. Nothing is for sale. Just done for fun. And remember. Don't do genre... it's stereotype by another name.

Well you better step to any shit we're feedin' ya,
'cause you know we ain't needin' ya. Expendable?
    You're about to get it.

(Don't fall too deep down, don't fall)

    I'm coming back, coming back
from the funky funky bass stack
what you see is what you get
and all I know is what I jack
    shake your money maker,
shake your money maker maker now
give me a couple of minutes
and I'll show you all exactly how

Soon there won't be no money to make,
    no lies to fake.
If you can't set it straight
    well then you can't relate
    the lies you swallow
    to rules you follow
    the words so hollow
    so see you tomorrow
    full of sorrow.

You're gonna say how did it ever get this far
when all I ever wanted was a house and a car.
Now Moma's in the backroom serving up rocks,
Daddy's in Wandsworth sitting in a box. [[3.1]]
Listen to the click of the steel as it locks.
The real enemies are in the corporate office blocks.

    so 1 2, 3 to 2, 3 to 2, 1
the wheels are set in motion and the job's getting done.

Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
So step to me when it hits ya
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
Come to put ya in the picture
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
So step to me when it hits ya
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
Come to put ya in the picture now.

    Breaking 'em, breaking 'em down
    breaking our people down.
    Our leader's a clown, [[3.2]
he's trying to swim but he's gonna drown
    so hear the sound.

    Time to disarm,
this ain't no false alarm doing harm.
    guns dance into a death-trance
    like a snake charm.
One after another they stand on the corner
but I won't pack a gat just like that
    'cause I don't wanna
    be part of the problem,
think the solution, words of revolution
to me are still sonic pollution.
Tried to make me out to be
    something I never was
    never would be because
    reality over us
hangs like a black cloud, sickens,
and when you stare for a second you're stricken
you cry man, the signs are simple and plain
    so play it again
    drifting in the last domain.
    When all the gun-talk shit
that you wrote it don't float
it sinks to the bottom like a fucked up boat.
And me and my posse we got a spirit
and no soft puppet can ever put a limit in it

    So 1 2, 3 to 2, 3 to 2, 1
The wheels are still in motion and the job's getting done.

    Pump, pump it up, y'all

    Senser - 2 3 Clear

Kerstin Haigh - Vocals and Flute

Shock the mic, re-amplify and bring it back to life, 1 2 3 Clear
Now I've been into this since Time Zone and Man Parish; now I'm grown and
married but the flow still carries
Black ops, psy ops, pineal Cyclops; Tolbiac to Clichy brought me back to Beat
Street undercover, we look out for one another
I was sent for a reason (now to figure out which one)
Hallucinogenic time capsules: time machines you can eat, dissect your reveries to
    every beat
The myth of Hassan-i Sabbah personified in Bin Laden and the CIA built his walled
    garden
It germinates from the residual; echoes of one piano note, but I stay the course, the
    war horse who delivers
I'm leaving MCs plastified like Kubrick figures, nether world, negative power
brokers, a plague of locusts you awoke and you focused
Shock the mic, re-amplify and bring it back to life
    Shock the mic, re-amplify 1 2 3 Clear
Shock the mic, re-amplify and bring it back to life
    Shock the mic, re-amplify 1 2 3 Clear
Ready now, ready now. I am open now, open now. I know that life is light, like light it
shines. Shining out, shining out. We are charged with sound
Toes numb outside the G8 summit, ghosts in the meat transvased and repeating
From the word go I strolled along the knife, cataclysmic, prismic, brought to life.
    Solid state light artefacts
Vision solarised, the world is now polarised
Consult with the spirits or whatever they're called now, torrential flows you can't
    stem, the words them
Crack your synaptic I am not phased by decadence, we are rogue elements
What crazy legs might have seen, had he been where I'd been (on mushrooms at
Fresh 86) this is my prayer
Fuck/blessing/come in your skull the world is one impaled on a spine of vision
Try to put it all in perspective, why wait for all the fuckin idiots to get this?
Ready now, ready now. I am open now, open now. I know that life is light, like light it
shines. Shining out, shining out. We are charged with sound
Stripped back I don't appear on your spectrum
Invective in vectors I push the hex into your sectors
Floating in the nexus I expand the solar plexus so I can project dialects until
eventually I become this weightless entity
Antidote to dogma yet heavy as OZMA... Google it if you don't recognise the
    reference
Power minds by dead cell collectives testing levels depth of your perceptive, I'm
    questing
Drawing pylons in black marker I ingest time, make incisions in rhyme, cut up the
    straight line
Voluminous, luminous, words are just still just sounds outside context now
Ray weapons, knock you from your perch in less than 8 seconds
A new way beckons, all hail the new imperial dawn
    (chorus
The way's not for the faint hearted, ascend and be one with the one mind
Leave open the gateway for those who follow
    (chorus)

    Senser ~ States of Mind

    5:12

States Of Mind was written by Kerstin Emily Haigh; heitham Al-sayed; james Charles Barrett; john Morgan;andrew Ballantin Clinton; nicholas Michaelson; alan Haggarty

Senser - States Of Mind Lyrics...

Ohh, I am tireless, sub zero, comin' from the wireless
Won't be no scenery, no part of the machinery
I go on and on but never below
So, now you see me and know, you can check it and go

'Cause I'm so bored that I can't even pretend no more
It's so pathetic that I'm rolling around on the floor
    Laughing at one big gag
And every now and then they pull another rabbit out of the bag

Of sad diversions, useless tedious excursions
    Roll into unrealistic, crypto-fascistic
    Comedy doctrine, kick the ballistics
Again and again and again, just say when

Ya had enough, sad enough or mad enough
To do something simple and kind
    Now is the time
A change of state of mind

I am a loner, a zoner, I utilize the microphone
And if they try a tap, I leave 'em hangin' on the telephone
    Wasted, so wasted, so
They're waiting for the visitors so they can go and try again

On the next step, on the next one
Come on and get some, jet some, static
    Solid state, automatic
Sporadic and random 'cause nobody planned 'em

Anarchy, free thought can't be bought
So, disregard the lessons and the shit you've been taught
I'm saying it and now they're playing it to me
Larger than life every day and this is what they say

Shut your mouth and get back in line
And if you don't like it, well, it suits us just fine
We pull the levers, we hold the strings
And these are just a few of our favorite things

Learn the words of the company song
White is right is right is strong, come on children all sing along
'Cause if you think you can change
    You were never more wrong

No, fuck that, you won't take me, you won't break me
And you'll never make me, step in line and step march in time
Well, you can violate my body but my soul is still mine
You must think that I'm fucking stupid, man

If you think I'm gonna hang with the program, some fool schedule
I don't give a shit about what is or isn't cool
I make the rules, I stand alone
And if they try a tap, I leave 'em hangin' on the telephone

One of these days I'm gonna get sectioned
I bet they even say it's for my own protection
    Rejection leads straight to correction
Look out, here comes a strange injection

They've got a drug to numb my erection
But they won't take this from me
My state of mind, it won't change me
My state of mind, state of mind

Ohh, change me, ohh, change my fate
    State of mind

Music is from a Mark Radcliffe session 1994...
